Benoît is an Engineer of Ecole Centrale des Arts et Métiers, with a Masters’ degree in Management Science and own the ‘Certificate of Professional Competence for the Road Transport’.

His high interest for technology led him to begin his career as a sales director in the IT sector. This professional experience gave him an excellent knowledge of information management technology, which would be extremely useful to him throughout his future career.

He joins the board of Directors of a pharmaceutical wholesaler where he occupied several positions. He created a pre-wholesaler company that is now a key player in the Benelux from McKeson Group.

In 2011, he joined the EHDH Group (which will become Walden Group) where he restructured 3PL and transport companies in the Benelux.

Since 2020, he takes the responsibility of CEO for the Eurotranspharma activity for the Walden Group.

Birgit Peeters graduated in 1993 as Commercial Engineer and next to a strong background in Finance and Administration she brings +20 years of extensive leadership and communication skills to EALTH.

Birgit Peeters started her career in Finance in the media industry, where she became CFO in 2007.

During her time in several Media companies (Sanoma, Truvo, FCR Media) she also held executive level positions in HR, Operations and General Management.

In 2020, Birgit decided to change industry and joined the Walden group to become CFO of Eurotranspharma.

She is also CFO for the Benelux entities of Ciblex, another business unit in the Walden Organization.

Birgit was appointed EALTH treasurer in August 2021.

Doctor in Pharmacy plus business school, Jean-François has spent 10 years in a pharmaceutical company as Supply Chain Manager and Deputy Pharmacist/Qualified Person.

After 4 years in merchant banking as responsible for a portfolio of subsidiaries and participations, he started a career in the Healthcare LSP with different positions : Operations Director, Project Director, and since 2008 Europe Pharmaceutical General Director for FM Health covering the functions of QP for France and Switzerland and assuring the healthcare compliance at corporate level.

As a responsive leader he developed operative and innovative solutions with a view to participating efficiently to market needs and evolutions. Participating to the profession development and representation he’s the President of the French depositaries organization LOGSanté.

In 2010 he collaborated to the creation and was elected Chairman of EALTH the European Association for Logistics and Transport in Healthcare which represents the logistics and dedicated transport service providers to the European Institutions and Organizations.

Mario is a Healthcare and Life Sciences services and distribution executive with extensive experience in senior $1bn+ P&L accountable roles.

He has a strong track record of having led enterprise wide change, large scale integrations and directing multi country commercial and operational teams developing new capabilities and business models.



His International experience across multi-disciplinary, cross cultural teams has enabled him to him successfully lead and deliver the achievement of key strategic objectives through recruiting and developing talent to build aligned, motivated teams.

Mario is outcome focused, with excellent strategic skills combined with a hands on approach.

Mario currently heads Alliance Healthcare’s Services businesses which includes their 3PL Alloga.
